BERYL ACKROYD CUP DRAW RELEASED
North West Sydney Football (NWSF) has today released the draw for the 2025 Beryl Ackroyd Cup, with twelve entries comprised of teams from Women’s Premier League and All Age competitions.
The Beryl Ackroyd Cup is a pre-season knockout tournament for the regions’ highest level women’s community football teams and was first held in 2022.

Following are the mechanics applied to the Beryl Ackroyd Cup draw, which was conducted at the NWSF Offices by the NWSF General Manager Competitions and witnessed by the NWSF Association Chair.
Round | Mechanics |
1 (Round of 16) | The 10 Premier League teams were put into Pot, and the four byes were put into Pot B One team was drawn from Pot A and a Bye drawn from Pot B 4 times until the Byes were exhausted (matches 1 to 4) The 2 All Age Teams were added to Pot A with the remaining 6 Premier League Teams, and teams were drawn in pairs to schedule matches 5 to 8. |
2 (Quarter Final) | The “winners” of matches 1 to 8 were drawn in pairs from a pot to create matches 9 to 12 |
3 (Semi Final) | The “winners” of matches 9 to 12 were drawn in pairs from a pot to create matches 13 and 14 |
