NWSF PINK All Abilities Team
PINK (Play, Interact, Network, Kick) provides an opportunity for female players of all ages and abilities to participate in a structured 10-week football program including a FNSW Gala Day and NWSF Women’s Grand Final Day. Players will learn skills, improve fitness, meet new friends and have fun. Shirts, shorts and socks are provided.
The NWSF PINK Koalas all abilities team received a grant from The Epping Club, who provided funding through their club grants scheme for the 2018 season. The funds from the grant enabled PINK players and the volunteer coaches to receive a new Umbro kit.
As part of the PINK program, the team plays modified games each Sunday against U10 and U11s NWSF teams on Morrison 1. An important aspect of the game is for the PINK and NWSF teams to warm up together prior to the game. This enables the players to get to know each other and promotes social interaction and a good spirited game for all players.
The NWSF teams have been highly supportive of the program and the games are a valuable experience for all players.
NWSF would like to thank all the PINK coaches for doing an exceptional job at creating a supportive environment for participants, and also their families. The PINK program is dedicated to the inclusion of all individuals and we are very proud of the girls and the program.
