NWSF AS ONE – A Women’s Football initiative
With the announcement that Australia is hosting the Women’s World Cup NWSF is proud to announce our NWSF As One – A women’s football initiative.
Supported by our One Family of football including NWSF and NWS Spirit FC, we will implement the following football initiatives to grow women’s football in our region. From grassroots to elite players, from players to coaches the aim is to make football the home for inclusive sport.
NWSF – One Academy
A best in practice academy for female players to support local players striving to play for the Matildas and in a World Cup
Run by NWS Spirit FC
NWSF – Advanced Female Coach Program – C License
Funding for 10 C Licenses in local clubs for aspiring female coaches who want to add to the development of our association and clubs
Supported by NWS Spirit FC
NWSF – Female Coach Mentoring Program
Local club female coaches can join the Academy with another Spirit FC Academy Coach to develop their coaching understanding
NWSF – Female Coach Apprenticeship Program
All Spirit FC players will be qualified as coaches
Selected players will also be developed as coaches in the Academy
