Compulsory coach education

NWSF’s compulsory coach education strategy is essential for maximising the quality of our players’ football experience, which is the number one indicator of player retention.

By ensuring all NWSF coaches receive high-quality training, we enhance the overall standard of coaching, leading to better player development and a more enjoyable football environment. This commitment to education also supports the growth and development of our people, including coaches, by equipping them with the necessary skills and knowledge to enjoy their role.

Additionally, by standardising coach education qualifications across clubs, we increase the enjoyment levels and retention of coaches, reducing the burden on clubs to organise coaches to attend courses. This streamlined approach allows clubs to focus more on player engagement and competition, including the development of high-level players in Premier League and Super League competitions, ultimately strengthening our football community.
