The Academy is where North West Sydney Football supports the development of the most talented players within the association. It is a key part of the player development pathway for our clubs, and is great if you want to make sure you train each week, regardless of the weather, as it takes place on the synthetic pitches at Christie Park!
The NWSF Academy also gives players the best chance at selection into our NWS Spirit FC SAP (Skill Acquisition Program) and Youth League squads, who compete in the NPL – the highest level of representative youth football in NSW.
In the Academy, players stay playing with their club teams but are given training and additional development in the Academy. Please note players must be registered with a NWSF club team to be eligible for the Academy. Players are selected at trials, and all players must trial each year for selection into the Academy.
