BATTLE OF THE NORTH: PREMIER LEAGUE WOMEN AND MEN PRE-SEASON MATCHES
In pre-season, North West Sydney Football (NWSF) Select Premier League Women’s and Men’s teams compete in the “Battle of the North” against Premier League Select teams from Northern Suburbs Football Association (NSFA).
This event features top players from the Men’s and Women’s Premier League teams, showcasing the best talent our clubs have to offer.
This year’s NWSF teams were coached by 2025 Beecroft Wombats Women’s Premier League coach Nathanial Vala, and 2025 Epping Eastwood Men’s Premier League coach Shayan Khoshab.
During the games, players wore NWSF shirts and shorts, plus their local club socks for identification purposes.
In 2026, NWSF hosted the women’s match and NSFA hosted the men’s match.
