North West Sydney Football (NWSF) is set to host a landmark event during Female Football Week with its Special Presentation Panel on Thursday, May 8, 2025, at Christie Park. From 6.30pm to 7.30pm, the panel will feature prominent figures in Australian football: Sam McGowan, coach of the Western Sydney Wanderers; Nicole Zosh, General Manager of Marketing at Football Australia; and Isabella Mossin, a respected A-League referee.
This event aims to spotlight the achievements and experiences of women in football, offering insights into working professionally in football at the highest levels. Sam McGowan will share her journey in coaching, discussing the challenges and triumphs of leading an A-League side. Nicole Zosh will provide perspectives on promoting women’s football and engaging audiences nationwide. Isabella Mossin will discuss her path in officiating and provide insight into what it’s like refereeing both in NWSF and the A-Leagues
The panel is part of NWSF’s broader Female Football Week celebrations, which include our Girls Academy trials (Friday May 2), female-only coaching courses, and Spirit FC’s Womens First Grade match, aimed at empowering female players and leaders in the sport. Attendees can expect an evening of engaging discussions, networking opportunities, and inspiration from some of the leading women in Australian football.
