Coach education ramps up ahead of the NWSF season!

North West Sydney Football (NWSF) is committed to fostering the development of grassroots football by offering flexible opportunities to participate in our coaching courses. These sessions re designed to equip coaches with the necessary skills and knowledge to create fun, safe and engaging environments for our players.

In the upcoming week, NWSF is hosting several Miniroos coaching courses designed for coaches working with players aged 6 to 8. These courses aim to create an environment where young players can learn the game through enjoyment.

Miniroos Certificate @ Thornleigh
    • Date & Time: Wednesday March 19, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM
    • Location: Ruddock Park
    • Registration: Coaches can register via the Football Australia Learning Platform (https://learn.footballaustralia.com.au/)

Miniroos Certificate @ Normanhurst Eagles

    • Date & Time: Thursday, March 20, 2025, from 7pm to 9pm
    • Location: Normanhurst Oval
    • Registration: Coaches can register via the Football Australia Learning Platform (https://learn.footballaustralia.com.au/)
Miniroos Certificate @ Epping FC
    • Date & Time: Friday, March 21, 2025, from 7pm to 9pm
    • Location: West Epping Oval
    • Registration: Coaches can register via the Football Australia Learning Platform (https://learn.footballaustralia.com.au/)
    • Please note a Chinese translator will be present at this course.

Plus, we’re also offering a Foundations of Football course this March for coaches of U9 age groups and above.

    • Dates: Tuesday, March 25, 2025, and Thursday, March 27, 2025
    • Time: 6:00 PM to 10:30 PM
    • Location: Normanhurst Oval
    • Details: This course focuses on the ‘why’ and ‘how’ of coaching, aiming to create fun and engaging environments for players aged 9 and above. Coaches must attend both nights to complete the course.
    • Registration: Coaches can register via the Football Australia Learning Platform using the code FFNWSF-FREE to enroll for free

These courses are part of NWSF’s compulsory coach education program, promoting greater education and knowledge among coaches. By investing in the development of coaches, NWSF aims to build a stronger and more vibrant football community in our association.
